Responsibilities
- Build new products inside the company.
- Develop new code with Rust and manage existing Go/Ruby code.
- Create proof of concepts in new areas and drive them to production or discard them.
Requirements
- Strong experience writing, shipping, and maintaining Rust code (2+ years).
- Experience with other languages such as Ruby, Python, Go, JS, and Java.
- Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms, multiprocessing, and memory management.
- Experience developing high-performance asynchronous applications with Rust, preferably using tokio.
- Good understanding of network protocols and stacks.
- Familiarity with database technologies, including classic databases and modern no-SQL.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of the Linux environment.
- Knowledge of Golang/Ruby is a plus.
- Experience working with WASM is a plus.
- Open Source contributions are a plus.
- Readiness to work remotely with distributed teams.
- Spoken English sufficient for technical interviews and collaboration.
- Result-oriented problem solver.
- Proactive in proposing solutions to problems.
- Open to new technologies and project switching.
- Willingness to travel for business.
