Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable Python applications, APIs, automation services, and workflows.
- Enhance the in-house automation platform and support business and operational processes.
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities, intelligent agents, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, and structured outputs into workflows.
- Build integrations with databases, APIs, message brokers, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure automation solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and production-ready.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, resolve production issues, and provide ongoing technical support and enhancements.
- Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies and identify opportunities for business improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade applications and services.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar relational or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLM technologies and integrating LLMs into applications.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, function/tool calling, structured outputs, and AI agents.
- Experience modernizing or migrating RPA workflows using Python, APIs, or AI is a plus.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and software engineering skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject; Agile/SCRUM experience is preferred.
