Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-wide architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests.
- Provide solutioning for client RFPs and ensure design assurance.
- Define current-state and target-state solutions, architecture frameworks, reusable patterns, and investment roadmaps.
- Lead the technical design, development, implementation, integration, and validation of custom solutions.
- Document architectural designs, solution artifacts, recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with sales, consulting, program, project, delivery, and IT teams to align solutions and transition work.
- Present solution designs to clients, negotiate requirements, and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Track industry and application trends and provide strategic input into current and future IT needs.
- Define technical, business process, KPI, and SLA metrics to drive results.
- Manage multiple projects and report assignment status according to project management standards.
- Recommend tools, reuse, and automation to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and ensure architecture principles and standards are applied consistently.
- Develop proofs of concept, demos, case studies, white papers, blogs, and points of view.
- Mentor developers, designers, and junior architects.
- Support team resourcing, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, engagement, diversity, and career progression.
Requirements
- Strong technical and strategic capability in enterprise solution architecture and design.
- Experience analyzing technology environments, enterprise requirements, client needs, and business outcomes.
- Ability to create scalable, reliable, and manageable architectures and evaluate integration options.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and design assurance across delivery teams.
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation, negotiation, and trusted-advisor skills.
- Ability to manage risks, perform root-cause analysis, define mitigation plans, and support quality assurance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with sales, consulting, project, delivery, and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to develop POCs, demos, case studies, white papers, blogs, and thought leadership.
- Ability to mentor technical staff and manage team hiring, performance, engagement, and development.
- Completion of relevant training and certifications is expected.
