Base Salary
$163k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy native mobile features across iOS and Android using SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, and shared GraphQL schemas.
- Drive product development from concept through launch while maintaining technical rigor, performance, security, and reliability in a regulated banking domain.
- Use AI technologies such as Claude to accelerate cross-platform feature translation, improve code quality, and increase team velocity.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Design, and external banking partners on complex mobile architecture problems.
- Build and maintain mobile infrastructure, testing automation, and release pipelines for dual-platform scaling.
- Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives, guide mobile architecture standards, mentor team members, and conduct cross-platform code reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional mobile software development experience with deep expertise in at least one primary native stack: Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android.
- Willingness and ability to build natively across iOS and Android using SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
- Deep understanding of declarative UI, reactive state management, and unidirectional data flow.
- Experience leading technical initiatives from scoping and architecture through launch and post-release monitoring.
- Experience with strongly typed GraphQL API layers, offline caching, state synchronization, and complex mobile data contracts.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, iterate quickly, and make informed technical tradeoffs.
- Preferred qualifications include production experience across Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, fintech or banking experience, mobile infrastructure and automated testing experience, and familiarity with MVVM or modern unidirectional architecture patterns.
