Base Salary
$217k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable APIs for the centralized AI platform.
- Develop Python and Java SDKs for teams to interact with the AI platform.
- Build backend services for AI agent lifecycle management, deployment, and monitoring using Python frameworks.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization systems supporting multi-tenant architecture.
- Create data access layers and database schemas for AI agents interacting with internal data sources.
- Implement asynchronous task processing for long-running AI agent operations.
- Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and help define the AI platform roadmap.
- Provide technical guidance on backend architecture, Python development, and SDK design.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of backend development experience, including 5+ years building scalable Python applications and APIs.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
- Expert-level Python skills and proficiency with FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLAlchemy, and Django ORM.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining SDKs or client libraries.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong ability to navigate complex technologies, work independently and collaboratively, handle confidential information, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
