Base Salary
$155k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize the roadmap for advisor payments, commission earnings, and revenue systems with Product Managers and Designers
- Design and maintain distributed systems processing booking, payment, and reconciliation data at scale
- Build and optimize backend services for payout logic, transaction timing, ledger accuracy, and third-party payment integrations
- Own system performance, architecture, data modeling, and transactional reliability
- Connect frontend experiences with secure and verifiable backend processes
- Own epics and deliver complete solutions from design through implementation and delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of backend web development experience
- At least 3 years of experience with Python using Django, Flask, or equivalent frameworks
- Strong experience designing APIs and distributed systems handling financial or transactional data
- Experience with relational databases, ORMs, and data models supporting accounting or ledger-based workflows
- FinTech, payments, or infrastructure experience—especially reconciliation, double-entry accounting, or money movement—is highly preferred
- AWS experience is a plus
- Kubernetes experience is a plus
