Base Salary
$173k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, performant microservices and modern, high-conversion front-end web experiences.
- Drive architectural decisions, design documentation, code quality, testability, and system performance.
- Lead pair programming, whiteboard sessions, task breakdowns, and constructive code reviews.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to evaluate technical trade-offs and inform product decisions.
- Drive the technical roadmap for high-impact e-commerce subscription features in collaboration with Product, Design, Marketing, and International teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue, Python or Kotlin, and PostgreSQL.
- 3+ years of experience designing and scaling reliable, modern systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, DevOps, and SRE principles.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with e-commerce, subscriptions, payment processing, AWS or GCP, microservices, TDD, DDD, Event Sourcing, internationalization, or open-source and software community participation.
