Base Salary
$150k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work on projects of moderate to advanced complexity.
- Develop new modules within the existing Windows application framework.
- Integrate with the Geneva platform for inputs, outputs, reporting, and downstream applications.
- Support applications and collaborate with business users on new requests and requirements.
- Test programs to verify quality and expected results before production deployment.
- Document and communicate assigned work and progress.
- Resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of development experience using C# and the .NET Framework as a full-stack developer.
- Experience building C# console and Windows applications for data processing.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MSSQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and database design.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC).
- Familiarity or experience with Web API, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience with object-oriented design in .NET development.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and independent-work skills.
- Knowledge of hedge funds and investment banking, preferably buy-side.
- Preferred experience with Geneva Accelerators, REST APIs, Geneva RSL, SQL reporting, shell scripts, Geneva Data Loader, and XML formats.
- Preferred understanding of trade flows and security master setup across equities, equity swaps, FX, CDS, IRS, bank debt, bonds, and ABS.
