Responsibilities
- Build scalable Android components and features from project requirements.
- Own readable, maintainable, and well-tested code using appropriate data structures and algorithms.
- Conduct design reviews and support system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and Operational Excellence standards.
- Participate constructively in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
- Respond to issues promptly, communicate updates and resolutions, and coordinate with technical stakeholders, customers, and partners.
- Create technical documentation shared across departments, locations, organizations, and senior leadership.
- Contribute to architectural tradeoffs and software solutions for large-scale mobile applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of working or app development experience.
- At least 4 years of relevant Android application development experience.
- Fluency in Compose, Kotlin, and Java.
- Experience with the Android SDK.
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation for broad organizational audiences, including senior leadership.
- Experience making architectural tradeoffs in software solutions.
- Experience as a successful software development leader for large-scale mobile applications.
- Understanding of multithreaded applications and concurrency handling.
