Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, adapt, implement, test, debug, deploy, and maintain software applications, systems, databases, and associated infrastructure.
- Build and manage AWS-based services and integrate applications with RESTful and gRPC APIs.
- Contribute to unit and integration testing, automated quality practices, code reviews, and the CI/CD pipeline.
- Translate business requirements and processes into technical specifications and technology solutions.
- Manage technical debt and make tactical and strategic decisions as requirements and information evolve.
- Collaborate with quants, portfolio managers, analysts, and business partners to define requirements and testing strategies.
- Mentor junior team members, assist colleagues, and suggest improvements to team practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience working with Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Application Load Balancers, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Experience with Python frameworks and tools such as NumPy and Pandas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and familiarity with object-oriented and functional programming paradigms and software design patterns.
- Commitment to quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Familiarity with R is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments is preferred.
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
