Base Salary
$201k - $313k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, hire, and develop a worldwide team of Specialist Solutions Architects, including performance management and promotion readiness.
- Own and execute the Communication Developer Services technical go-to-market strategy and launch programs that accelerate adoption and revenue.
- Set the technical bar for architecture reviews, proofs of concept, migrations, and scaled enablement for Amazon SES and AWS End User Messaging.
- Use AI and data to identify customer patterns and build playbooks, automation, and reference architectures.
- Collaborate with product marketing, sales, partner teams, business development, and business operations to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Represent customer needs in product roadmaps and drive prioritized feature requests to service teams.
- Shape the vision for conversational and agentic AI across customer communication channels.
- Establish operating mechanisms including adoption tracking and technical win/loss reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications or cloud technologies.
- At least 3 years of people-management experience leading and developing technical teams such as Solutions Architects or engineers.
- Experience developing strategies that influence organizational-level leadership decisions.
- Experience with cloud architecture and at least one communication or customer-engagement domain such as messaging, email, CPaaS, or marketing technology.
- Preferred experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
- Preferred experience leading Specialist or go-to-market-aligned Solutions Architecture teams within a cloud or SaaS provider.
- Preferred familiarity with Amazon SES, AWS End User Messaging, or comparable messaging and email platforms.
- Preferred track record of leading business initiatives that drove measurable adoption or revenue growth.
- Preferred experience partnering with product or service teams to shape roadmaps based on field and customer feedback.
