Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design of complex ERP solutions including module scope and process flows.
- Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to identify client needs and complexities.
- Produce clear solution blueprints and gap analyses for clients and internal teams.
- Make recommendations on build vs. configure trade-offs for maintainability and scalability.
- Define functional requirements for custom modules and integrations with precision.
- Review and challenge solution designs on colleagues' projects as a critical sounding board.
- Serve as the functional link between clients, lead consultants, and engineers.
- Translate complex client requirements into precise functional specifications.
- Review technical deliverables against functional requirements to catch misalignments.
- Facilitate structured handoffs between discovery, design, development, and testing phases.
- Occasionally take end-to-end ownership of the implementation lifecycle.
- Coordinate with consultants and engineers to manage client expectations and project momentum.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training.
- Contribute to scalable product development and reusable solution components.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants on solution design and technical specifications.
- Support presales on technically complex opportunities and stay current with ERP trends.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in Odoo consulting or solution architecture.
- Deep Odoo functional expertise, especially in complex or integration-heavy implementations.
- Proven experience designing ERP solutions with custom workflows and third-party integrations.
- Experience architecting integrations between ERP systems and third-party platforms.
- Ability to produce integration specifications and functional requirements at the API level.
- Experience acting as the interface between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
