Base Salary
$106k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and drive improvement for security programs like fuzzing and threat modeling.
- Support engineering teams in responding to security issues with risk analysis and proof of concept.
- Advocate for and contribute to complex security projects from inception to completion.
- Drive architecture and processes that prioritize security within Server Engineering.
- Partner with engineering teams to design and implement security controls.
- Research new attacks and perform product security assessments.
- Serve as a security subject matter expert for software security and architecture.
- Educate the engineering organization on security through various initiatives.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in application security, software security, or product security.
- Demonstrated experience in C++ programming and security assessments on low-level codebases.
- Scripting experience and ability to contribute code back to environments.
- Comfortable leading threat modeling and acting as a security ambassador.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues simply to build trust.
- Strong sense of ownership and delivery.
- Skilled at providing collaborative, actionable feedback.
