Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate and improve network, server, and cloud infrastructure as a hands-on senior technical contributor.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Datadog, and related tooling.
- Automate security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks in CI/CD pipelines.
- Expand Terraform-based infrastructure as code and reduce configuration drift through reproducible provisioning.
- Architect and implement blue-green deployments, canary releases, and automated rollbacks.
- Advance software supply chain security across dependency risk, artifact integrity, and code signing.
- Help implement HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO controls through automated and repeatable infrastructure patterns.
- Use and coach the team on AI tools for configuration, scripting, troubleshooting, and infrastructure risk analysis.
Requirements
- Six or more years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering at a senior technical level in production environments.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO compliance frameworks and their technical implementation.
- Expertise with AWS, including EKS, RDS, Security Hub, Identity Center, and Control Tower.
- Strong working knowledge of Postgres or other relational databases, including performance tuning, backups, and failover.
- Strong expertise with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and declarative GitOps deployment patterns.
- Advanced knowledge of Cloudflare in edge, security, and performance architectures.
- Daily practical use of AI tools for infrastructure automation, scripting, troubleshooting, and risk analysis, with sound judgment around security, quality, and human oversight.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues under production pressure.
