Base Salary
$200k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale the platform to millions of AI agent runs per day by solving capacity, performance, and reliability challenges.
- Make the platform portable across clouds and on-premises customer environments.
- Address enterprise integration requirements involving identity, private networking, certificate-based authentication, and data residency.
- Own observability and incident response, including alerting, on-call, post-mortems, and preventing recurring failures.
- Improve local development, CI, deployments, and production debugging for developer productivity.
- Set technical direction for operating Pallet’s infrastructure at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or SRE roles, preferably at an early-stage company or team that the candidate helped scale.
- Deep expertise in at least one of databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, or application frameworks and runtimes.
- Experience using evidence to set SLOs, prioritize performance work, plan capacity, identify bottlenecks, and understand system failure points.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Google Cloud, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
