Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Architect hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises data centers with Microsoft Azure, including workload migration, hybrid identity, and multi-cloud interoperability.
  • Evaluate and implement Azure ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and site-to-site connectivity for secure, low-latency data transfer.
  • Lead provisioning and configuration of Azure virtual networks, storage, compute services, and hybrid infrastructure aligned with on-premises systems.
  • Assess existing infrastructure for cloud adoption, hybrid extensions, and modernization, including cost-benefit and risk evaluations.
  • Develop and enforce security, governance, and compliance practices for hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, cloud platform, and security teams to define strategies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
  • Document architectures, create technical blueprints, mentor junior architects and engineers, and participate in proofs of concept, vendor evaluations, and capacity planning.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with IT infrastructure servers, systems integration, and operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Azure Stack, or Azure Arc.
  • At least 5 years of experience with on-premises servers, virtualization, and basic data center management.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting WAN/LAN environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing automation testing and maintaining automation tools.
  • At least 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with individual contributors through executive leadership.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, advanced Microsoft Azure certifications, multi-cloud experience, Azure Sentinel experience, DevOps and CI/CD knowledge, Docker or Kubernetes experience, regulated-industry compliance experience, and leadership of large-scale hybrid cloud migrations.
  • Candidates must satisfy Boeing's Conflict of Interest assessment process, meet U.S. export-control requirements, and be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
