Responsibilities
- Automate and implement tools and processes that enable rapid software development and deployment.
- Build and maintain CI/CD delivery pipelines with automated system testing and rapid deployment of infrastructure and application code.
- Deploy and manage cloud and serverless infrastructure while providing operational metrics to development and business teams.
- Maintain high availability and troubleshoot databases, applications, networks, operating systems, and production platforms.
- Create network architectures and configure hardware and software networking devices and services.
- Build and automate monitoring tools and support service monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer—Professional certification is required.
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows systems, shell scripting, and Java, Python, or .NET is required.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, serverless architecture, provisioning, management, scaling, and security is required or strongly preferred.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, TeamCity, or comparable tools is required.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
- Experience with network architecture, routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory, and network interoperability is required.
- Experience with configuration management of heterogeneous systems, virtualization technology, automation, and monitoring tools is required.
- Coding experience with PHP, Python, or Bash is required.
- Knowledge of VMware, ELK, Grafana, Zabbix, Linux and Windows internals, web and mobile security, performance, and high-availability systems is required.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and CDNs is advantageous.
- Juniper firewall and switch administration experience, RHCE, and AWS Solutions Architecture or AWS SysOps certification are preferred.
