Base Salary
$206k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Enterprise Solution Engineers across the US South.
- Coach sales engineers on Dataiku’s product value, competitive differentiation, and Challenger Sales methodology.
- Participate as a player-coach in high-profile customer opportunities and provide strategic technical guidance.
- Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition, retention, adoption, and expansion.
- Mentor, hire, and retain technical sales talent while scaling a high-performing team.
- Communicate technical risks and opportunities to sales leadership.
- Host enablement sessions on emerging technology trends and refine team performance indicators with Sales Engineering leadership.
Requirements
- At least five years of sales engineering experience.
- At least two years of people management experience, including building and hiring teams.
- Experience with complex or large-scale enterprise AI and analytics deployments.
- Deep understanding of foundation models, LLMOps, Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, and autonomous AI agents.
- Experience building and enabling high-performing technical teams in a rapidly evolving AI market.
- Intellectual curiosity about business, traditional machine learning, and agentic AI technologies.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Java, or other programming languages.
- Preferred: experience with cloud services and AI/ML services such as AWS Bedrock, Azure Foundry, and GCP Vertex AI.
- Preferred: understanding of LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, agentic orchestration, feature engineering, model training, and model deployment.
- Preferred: knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Preferred: experience driving AI Native go-to-market transformations and communicating complex AI concepts to executive audiences.
