Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and scale Camunda’s high-load infrastructure platform used by product teams for thousands of jobs.
- Ensure product versions are reliably built and distributed through artifact storage systems.
- Identify and remove infrastructure-related developer pain points and improve engineering processes.
- Provide platform capabilities, tooling guidance, and best-practice support to product teams.
- Contribute to the team roadmap, technical decisions, and long-term platform vision.
Requirements
- Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience operating high-scale CI systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins with self-hosted runners.
- Comfort with at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python, Groovy, Go, JavaScript, or Java.
- Ability to work effectively in remote, asynchronous, cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity, knowledge-sharing, continuous-improvement mindset, and comfort using AI-first engineering approaches.
- Backend engineering experience and interest across a broad range of technical topics are preferred.
- Ability or interest in defining, documenting, and driving technical best practices is preferred.
