Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable web applications using AngularJS, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Participate in application systems analysis, programming, system enhancements, installation, and support.
- Build robust backend systems and contribute to full-stack application development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, users, and engineers to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver software.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code; conduct code reviews and participate in peer programming.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, resolve defects, and analyze application vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Conduct application testing and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while adhering to applicable policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with backend experience and preferably full-stack experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience focused on full-stack development.
- Expertise in AngularJS for front-end development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot for building robust and scalable backend systems.
- Strong SQL skills for database design, querying, and optimization.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
