Base Salary
$120k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, modify, maintain, and sustain software applications and shared services for system modernization.
- Write code, analyze software requirements, debug applications, and develop application documentation.
- Perform integration, quality assurance, security functionality, resiliency, validation, and system testing.
- Apply cybersecurity principles including encryption, access control, identity management, authentication, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and nonrepudiation.
- Automate builds, testing, and deployments in CI/CD pipelines while enforcing security and quality standards.
- Support cloud-native architectures, infrastructure as code, artifact management, operational tool standardization, and release packages.
- Develop error, exception, fault, logging, input-validation, and data-handling functionality.
- Support production outages, internal review and change boards, product audits, causative research, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, customers, application teams, security teams, and operations teams.
- Create and update work items and contribute to system policies, development tools, security patches, and architecture views.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a technical major such as engineering or computer science, or an alternative of two years of college plus three to five years of related work experience.
- At least five years of work experience in modern software development and proficiency in one or more listed software development technologies.
- Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XML Schema, SQL, and Oracle databases.
- Required IAM Level I certification, specifically CompTIA Security+.
- At least five years of experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft O365 and Teams, Excel, Visio, and Outlook applications.
- At least three years of experience with agile concepts and principles and participation in agile teams.
- At least three years of experience with DevOps tools and practices, cloud-native architectures, and infrastructure as code.
- At least one year of experience with a PaaS environment such as Appian or Salesforce.
- Knowledge of security tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanners and intrusion detection systems, and ability to write Bash or PowerShell automation scripts.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, organizational, planning, judgment, adaptability, and security risk assessment skills.
- Experience with Navy or DoD environments and supply processes is desirable.

- Projected annualized compensation is $120,000 to $135,000 USD.
