Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate multi-cloud foundations across GCP and AWS.
- Own platform components end-to-end with a focus on reliability and security.
- Improve developer tooling and platform self-service capabilities.
- Build secure-by-default infrastructure patterns.
- Drive operational excellence through incident management and automation.
- Collaborate across Platform and R&D to improve developer productivity.
- Contribute to Backstage and Portal.
- Mentor engineers and raise engineering quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Deep experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in a modern programming language.
- Strong experience with CI/CD and developer platforms.
- Ability to think in distributed systems and understand trade-offs.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM systems and their application to infrastructure.
- Ownership of outcomes and ability to drive impact.
- Clear communication skills and ability to navigate complex trade-offs.
- Ability to foster inclusive, collaborative environments.
