Responsibilities
- Define and design scalable Salesforce architecture aligned with business requirements, technical best practices, and enterprise architecture.
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds, including data models, workflows, sharing models, security structures, and performance optimization.
- Lead Salesforce projects technically and provide guidance, mentoring, standards, and best practices to developers and administrators.
- Design integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, MuleSoft, Informatica, Salesforce Connect, and integration patterns.
- Define data governance, migration strategies, synchronization processes, and controls for data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, enterprise architects, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and implement Salesforce AppExchange solutions and third-party tools while staying current with Salesforce releases.
- Create and maintain architectural diagrams, data flow diagrams, solution designs, and other technical documentation.
- Facilitate technical discussions and present architectural solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years as a Salesforce Architect.
- 8+ years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in software design and development or systems architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent related experience.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Extensive Salesforce integration experience with REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Informatica, Salesforce Connect, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce data models, sharing models, security architecture, data management, and governor limits.
- Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, Flows, and Process Builder.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce DX, and data governance.
- Preferred Salesforce certifications include Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ Specialist certifications.
- Preferred qualifications include multi-cloud and global Salesforce implementation experience, familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, TOGAF, Agile methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Preferred additional certifications include Android Development, Cloud Architect, Integration Architect, TOGAF, Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect, and SAFe Agile certifications.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, leadership, collaboration, mentoring, presentation, planning, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
