Responsibilities
- Develop Plaid integration within the Add Bank and Maintain Bank user experiences for secure bank-account connectivity and verification.
- Build and modernize frontend applications using Angular and React.js with reusable component patterns and enterprise engineering standards.
- Integrate user interfaces with Plaid and backend APIs for instant account verification and micro-deposit flows.
- Modernize account-linking journeys covering verification, consent, error handling, and status messaging.
- Improve application scalability, maintainability, performance, accessibility, and security.
- Develop unit and integration tests and support end-to-end validation across UI and API layers.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, API, Architecture, Security, and Quality Engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and support release readiness and production stability.
- Collaborate with US stakeholders and global engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for TS03 when required, without formal team management responsibilities for IC roles.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, full-stack development, or application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and React.js for modern web application development.
- Experience with Java, AWS, and API integrations.
- Experience with Plaid APIs, fintech, or open banking is an advantage.
- Exposure to Node.js and Preact is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with global teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and accountability.
- Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
