Responsibilities
- Lead Java, Spring, and Angular development for the Recovery & Resolution Planning area.
- Perform feasibility studies, effort estimates, systems analysis, application design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Manage development priorities, work slates, project delivery, and software development activities in coordination with technology teams, business users, and subject matter experts.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend programming and systems solutions.
- Develop security measures and support post-implementation analysis of application usage and functionality.
- Consult with users and technology groups, provide advanced programming solutions, and support application installation and operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advisor, or coach to junior analysts and team members.
- Follow operating standards, procedures, risk controls, and applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming; additional qualifications state 8+ years in Java-based development or software development roles.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Java 8/11/12/17, J2EE full-stack development, data structures, multithreading, Spring Framework, Spring MVC/Boot, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with programming, design patterns, ORM frameworks, AngularJS or Ext JS, and application testing practices.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, ECS, and PL/SQL; Docker/ECS knowledge is described as preferred or advantageous.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, including consulting or project-management techniques.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of application development and experience with product-based development.
- Demonstrated leadership, project-management, judgment, stakeholder-consultation, and deadline-management skills.
