Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code, including AI auto-raters and agentic systems.
- Explore web and merchant data sources to improve ML models and product-understanding performance.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and evaluate technology choices with peers and stakeholders.
- Review other developers’ code for style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- At least 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, 3 years in complex cross-functional organizations, 2 years building generative AI agents and deploying ML/LLM products or features, and 1 year in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
