Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robust, scalable, highly available Java applications and microservices.
- Build high-volume, real-time, web-based Risk Management systems using cloud-native and containerized architectures.
- Implement messaging, streaming, and asynchronous processing solutions using Kafka, gRPC, JMS, and GraphQL.
- Contribute across the SDLC, including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in feasibility studies, system analysis, estimation, IT planning, risk assessments, code reviews, design discussions, and architecture sessions.
- Improve application reliability, performance, security, observability, and post-deployment processes.
- Provide production support and coordinate issue resolution with support, infrastructure, and development teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advise senior stakeholders, mentor junior developers, and manage multiple dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications as a Senior or Full Stack Developer.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, multithreading, and parallel processing.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, cloud-native development, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with Kafka, gRPC, JMS, GraphQL, relational databases, NoSQL databases, distributed caches, and Ignite.
- Experience with Test Driven Development and JUnit.
- Experience with ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus for observability and monitoring.
- Experience integrating and leveraging generative AI tools and Large Language Models to improve developer productivity and application capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services, Risk Management, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, enterprise risk, regulatory knowledge, Python, data analysis, and Trino experience.

- Primary location full-time salary range of $94,300.00-$141,500.00.
