Base Salary
$104k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated test content for SSD firmware features, including NVMe and customer-specific requirements.
- Develop and maintain functional, performance, stress, interoperability, and negative test cases using established frameworks and automation tools.
- Investigate regression and field failures, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate findings to multifunctional teams.
- Enhance test automation, CI-based regression systems, reporting tools, and validation workflows.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and copilots for test development, debugging, data analysis, and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–6 years of experience or master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong Python programming skills with automation development experience and familiarity with NumPy, pandas, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with software or firmware validation, test automation, and structured verification strategies.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applying existing AI/ML tools to engineering or testing challenges.
- Preferred qualifications include TensorFlow or PyTorch, embedded systems, firmware development, NVMe, PCIe, SSDs, NAND flash, C or Rust, Linux, Windows, Git-based workflows, and automation for validation, testing, or CI/CD environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and work independently.
