Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end web, mobile, API, and database features using React/Next.js, React Native, ASP.NET Core, and PostgreSQL.
- Deliver mobile, teleconsultation, medication management, feedback and survey, and AI assistant features.
- Build and maintain integrations with labs, EHRs, imaging systems, pharmacies, payers, and devices.
- Map and validate partner data to FHIR resources and support patient/order matching, quarantine, reconciliation, and replay.
- Build long-running clinical workflows in Temporal using the .NET SDK.
- Implement idempotency, the outbox pattern, and event messaging with Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Service Bus.
- Integrate secure, permission-scoped AI assistant tools and require clinician approval before AI output changes clinical records.
- Implement secure login, consent, tenant/patient/purpose-of-use access rules, and protected partner connections.
- Package and deploy containerized services to Kubernetes on GKE or AKS through CI/CD and GitOps.
- Protect patient data from exposure in logs, caches, and browsers.
- Write unit and integration tests, review code, and mentor engineers.
- Complete mandatory training and participate in scheduled one-to-one meetings.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong C# and .NET skills, including ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and Web API.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills, including Next.js, plus React Native experience.
- Hands-on healthcare integration experience with at least one of FHIR, HL7v2, or DICOM.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, REST or GraphQL, messaging and event-driven systems, and OIDC/OAuth2.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes on GKE or AKS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating LLM or AI features through model APIs, retrieval/RAG, or tool calling.
- Temporal or another workflow engine, Mirth Connect, HAPI FHIR, WebRTC/LiveKit, OPA, and HIPAA or data privacy experience are strong pluses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
