Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal products and platforms.
- Deliver project work with increasing autonomy and scope.
- Work closely with internal customers to understand their workflows.
- Contribute to the technical and architectural evolution of Amplify’s systems.
- Take responsibility for the quality and operational health of the code.
- Use modern AI tools in the engineering workflow.
- Help improve developer experience and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and operational partners.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience building and operating full-stack or backend-focused software systems.
- Ability to take a project from design through implementation and maintenance.
- Comfortable questioning and refining requirements with stakeholders.
- Experience in modern web engineering areas such as backend services or AI-enabled workflows.
- Familiarity with operational excellence and debugging issues.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Motivated to continuously improve workflows and practices.
