Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, high-performance Python applications for production use.
- Design and develop secure APIs and integration patterns across distributed enterprise systems.
- Contribute to system architecture and distributed-system design decisions.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering tools for team and product improvements.
- Deliver clean, tested, and documented software within Agile sprints.
- Identify and escalate technical and operational risks affecting solution integrity and compliance.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressive software development experience with substantial Python experience.
- Advanced experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Expertise in software architecture, distributed-system design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and object-oriented development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis, including query design and performance considerations.
- Knowledge of secure coding, OWASP Top 10 principles, encryption, and access control.
- Experience delivering complex software projects from design through production deployment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Generative AI tools, agentic AI frameworks, Java, and financial-services compliance requirements.
