Backend / Systems Agentic Engineer (SG)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Make architectural decisions on system design and data modeling.
- Write clean, well-tested, observable code using AI coding agents.
- Build and integrate LLM and agent-powered backend capabilities.
- Optimize for performance, scalability, and reliability across services.
- Integrate with third-party financial APIs and cloud infrastructure.
- Set up logging, monitoring, and participate in incident response.
- Drive engineering best practices around code review and testing.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to solve backend challenges.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of backend software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
- Experience designing for reliability, performance, and security.
- Fluency with AI coding tools and a track record of improving output.
- Experience with LLMs and/or agent frameworks is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience in trading platforms or financial infrastructure is a plus.
