Responsibilities
- Perform detailed functional testing of gaming software and identify functionality issues.
- Provide QA sign-offs for production releases.
- Review bugs and test cases and create QA documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and features.
- Document, maintain, and track issues in JIRA until resolution.
- Verify live game events against design and expected functionality.
- Use debug, admin, and external software tools to diagnose, reproduce, and identify issues.
- Generate status reports and other low-level reports for supervisors.
- Prioritize changing tasks and execute scripted and ad hoc tests accurately.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1–2 years of software testing experience.
- Web or mobile testing experience is preferred.
- Awareness of software testing methodologies, procedures, and the overall product development lifecycle.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, prioritization, and task-management skills.
- Ability to work accurately under quick deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
