Responsibilities
- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts based on functional requirements and user stories.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation with QA and development teams.
- Set up test environments, collect logs, and document test results.
- Participate in test planning, review sessions, and sprint meetings.
- Apply best practices in test automation, code versioning, and defect reporting.
- Document test cases, automation frameworks, and QA processes.
- Support manual validation and regression testing as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent coursework/experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or automation, including internships or academic projects.
- Familiarity with one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of QA methodologies, test case development, and defect tracking tools.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.
