$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain NVLink Fusion features across kernel-mode drivers, embedded firmware, and microcode layers.
- Drive software features through requirements, architecture, implementation, pre-silicon verification, silicon bring-up, validation, productization, production, and partner deployment.
- Develop unit, integration, and system-level tests, diagnostics, and automation for pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Debug hardware, firmware, kernel, and system-level issues across the hardware/software boundary using logs, traces, debuggers, diagnostics, simulation, or emulation.
- Collaborate with GPU and system architects, ASIC designers, firmware and driver teams, validation engineers, and external technology partners.
- Develop low-level production software primarily in C and C++.
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews, build technical consensus, and improve software quality, maintainability, and release readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant software, firmware, or systems development experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise in low-level software design, implementation, and debugging.
- Strong C and/or C++ programming skills and proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language.
- Experience with operating-system kernels, device drivers, embedded firmware, microcode, high-speed interconnects, networking, or low-level system software.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and hardware/software interaction, including memory-mapped I/O, interrupts, DMA, concurrency, memory ordering, and device I/O.
- Experience debugging complex systems with logs, traces, debuggers, hardware diagnostics, simulation, or emulation.
- Experience with technical design, peer review, testing, release management, and production maintenance.
