Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack features in a 3–5 person Pod using Node.js, React, Golang, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and AWS.
- Build and maintain APIs and integrate external services and databases with attention to data integrity and security.
- Build responsive, accessible frontend interfaces and contribute to user experience decisions.
- Contribute to AI-powered product capabilities as skills develop.
- Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to understand requirements and shape technical, design, and UX decisions.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and develop strong testing practices.
- Participate in rotating production support, including on-call and bug triage.
- Explore AI tools and full-stack techniques and share learnings with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience through projects, internships, or bootcamps.
- Passion for software craftsmanship demonstrated through personal projects, open source, hackathons, coursework, or other software-building experience.
- Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and systems.
- Comfort with frontend and backend development, or a strong foundation in one area with interest in learning the other.
- Some hands-on experience with AI developer tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, or strong interest in developing a working practice with them.
- Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases, ask questions, take initiative, and own work through production.
- Preferred qualifications include AI or ML-powered personal projects or coursework, exposure to OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or Pinecone, and a GitHub profile showing projects or open source contributions.
