Engineer - Future Founder

Responsibilities
- Take customer and business problems from discovery through production in partnership with Product, Design, and engineering.
- Work directly with financial advisors and internal teams to identify friction, improve client experiences, reduce manual work, and support growth.
- Use AI coding agents and other emerging tools to build and ship quickly while evaluating their output and remaining accountable for product execution.
- Make thoughtful decisions about what to build and own the resulting outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated evidence of building things, such as side projects, startup attempts, or accelerator applications.
- Solid AI-enabled engineering fundamentals, including using AI to write and debug code and recognizing and correcting agent mistakes.
- An AI-first development approach with active experimentation using AI tools.
- High agency, follow-through, clear communication, collaboration, coachability, and sound judgment about when to work independently or involve others.
- A desire to understand customers, solve meaningful problems, and build a business.
- Willingness to pursue an approximately 18-month stint before potentially becoming a founder.
- Preferred: experience finding users, incorporating feedback, or persuading customers to pay for something built.
- Preferred: experience building AI-powered features, agents, or automations.
