Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and design solutions for consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Provide technical leadership across the end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions.
- Collaborate with technical leads, managers, and product stakeholders to define and manage the technical roadmap.
- Present technical solutions and advise the business on approaches and tradeoffs.
- Work with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to create integrated end-to-end solution options.
- Provide high-level effort estimates when detailed requirements are unavailable.
- Communicate solution approaches to architects, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant knowledge into platform roadmaps, designs, and implementations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- Hands-on Android experience with Coroutines, data binding, fragment transactions, and MVVM is required.
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture, MVVM architecture, and SOLID principles is required.
- Experience with Git, SVN, Bitbucket, and AWS CodeCommit is required.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines, object-oriented programming, collection frameworks, and multithreading is required.
- Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose is required.
- Experience with Hlit/Hilt, Dagger, dependency injection, and Jetpack Architecture Components is required.
- Experience with Google Play Services, including Google Maps, Location API, and FCM, is required.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts is required.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
