Responsibilities
- Design and architect Android and Android TV mobile solutions across native, hybrid, and web platforms.
- Define enterprise mobility architecture and integration approaches.
- Develop or guide software solutions involving mobile applications, web services, external APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Apply industry-standard design patterns and service integration technologies.
- Support Android TV player experiences and TV user interfaces using AndroidX libraries.
- Contribute to live-streaming, broadcast, digital video, and globally scalable streaming systems.
Requirements
- Strong software development background in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing, architecting, or developing native, hybrid, or web mobile solutions, particularly for Android and Android TV.
- At least 6 years of experience in architecture or a closely related area, with 14 or more years of overall IT experience.
- Experience with web services, mobile applications, external APIs, and enterprise architecture integrations.
- Ability to design enterprise mobility architecture.
- Knowledge of design patterns such as MVC and MVVM, along with SOA, REST/JSON, and SOAP/XML.
- Knowledge of Android and Android TV player experience and AndroidX libraries for TV devices.
- Experience with live streaming or broadcast.
- AWS skills, including Lambda, Aurora, and SQS, are preferred.
- Knowledge of broadcast systems, digital video, and data or metadata supply chains is preferred.
- Experience with event-driven systems, workflows, microservices, agile environments, or large-scale performance- and resilience-sensitive systems is preferred.
