Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and design solutions for consumer-facing iOS mobile applications.
- Provide technical leadership across the end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions.
- Work with technical leads, managers, and product stakeholders to define and manage the technical roadmap.
- Prepare and present technical solutions while advising the business on approaches and tradeoffs.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to produce integrated end-to-end solution options.
- Provide high-level effort estimates when detailed requirements are unavailable.
- Communicate solution approaches to architects, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Keep current with emerging technologies and incorporate them into platform roadmaps, designs, and implementations.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of proven professional experience is required.
- For iOS, proficiency with Objective-C or Swift and Cocoa Touch is required, along with experience with Core Data, Core Animation, RESTful APIs, performance tuning, cloud messaging, push notifications, and Git.
- For Android, hands-on experience with Coroutines, data binding, fragment transactions, MVVM, Clean architecture, SOLID principles, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, dependency injection, Jetpack Architecture Components, and Google Play Services is required.
- Android candidates should have experience with Git, SVN, Bitbucket, AWS CodeCommit, Google Maps, Location API, and FCM.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another specific technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates must understand object-oriented programming, collections, multithreading, and CI/CD concepts.
