Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the cloud platform that aggregates data from edge devices.
- Design the data and services backbone for the safety dashboard.
- Implement real-time event streaming and time-series data storage.
- Develop platform APIs that power the safety dashboard and agent layer.
- Establish multi-tenancy and access control for multiple customers.
- Manage identity services for authentication and access management.
- Oversee the agent layer for configuration and orchestration of workflows.
- Handle infrastructure and DevOps tasks including CI/CD and monitoring.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems.
- Strong skills in AWS, containerized deployments, and CI/CD.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Proven ability to design multi-tenant systems with role-based access control.
- Sound judgment on adopting managed services versus building in-house.
- Comfortable making architectural decisions with evolving requirements.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, TypeScript).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
