Responsibilities
- Build and continuously improve software solutions primarily in Java and contribute to frontend development, infrastructure automation, and platform maintainability.
- Collaborate with AWS and other global partners to build software systems for a global customer base.
- Solve complex problems and deliver pragmatic outcomes that create customer and business value.
- Improve code quality, documentation, team processes, and long-term platform maintainability.
- Use automated testing, deployment, and delivery practices, including TDD, BDD, and pair programming.
- Contribute to the Diverge cloud-native energy data platform, including its AWS serverless services, streaming data pipelines, and automated software releases.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with Java and Spring, including development tooling, testing, and quality software delivery practices.
- Systems-thinking, strong problem-solving ability, pragmatic judgment, and a collaborative working style.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments, ideally with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including automated testing, deployment, and delivery pipelines.
- A continuous improvement mindset, curiosity, adaptability, willingness to learn, and focus on customer and business outcomes.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, React, TDD, BDD, pair programming, and serverless AWS architecture design and implementation.
