Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of complex features, systems, and technical initiatives while balancing speed, quality, and strategic alignment.
- Design and build robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Own technical work from design through deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call support, maintain reliability, and respond effectively to incidents.
- Make technical decisions that consider long-term sustainability and operational impact.
- Navigate ambiguity, define problems, propose practical solutions, and guide others through system design.
- Influence technical direction and build relationships across disciplines through clear communication and collaboration.
- Mentor and coach colleagues through feedback, pairing, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Strong engineering experience with deep expertise in one or more of Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- A strong track record of leading complex technical work across systems or teams.
- Experience owning large-scale features or platforms from design through deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs in ambiguous environments while balancing business outcomes.
- Clear communication, collaborative leadership, and the ability to build trust across teams.
- Commitment to supporting an inclusive engineering culture and growing others through coaching and mentoring.
