Backend Engineer, Consumer Alliance
HelloFreshResponsibilities
- Design and ship features that encourage members to earn, track, and spend their loyalty points.
- Develop and deploy scalable backend services and APIs in the Loyalty and Rewards domain.
- Maintain an aggressive development cadence, turning hypotheses into live experiments quickly.
- Contribute to the hypothesis backlog based on customer behavior data.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and deploying scalable backend services.
- Proficiency in Go and/or PHP; experience with JVM languages is a plus.
- Strong background in microservices and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong collaboration skills with product designers.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and make trade-off decisions.
