Responsibilities
- Contribute to quality initiatives for mobile client-side experiences.
- Execute a layered test strategy focusing on End-to-End and integration testing.
- Identify quality risks in mobile client flows and create automation scripts.
- Drive hands-on testing for client applications using Appium or Detox.
- Advocate for mobile testability and collaborate with developers.
- Design and maintain robust automation suites using Appium and TypeScript.
- Perform API and contract validation for GraphQL schemas.
- Integrate automated UI checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support performance testing of mobile app load times and resource utilization.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and collaborate with Product and Design partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software and/or test engineering.
- Strong focus on React Native mobile applications and native automation.
- Proven experience implementing test scripts for mobile technologies.
- Hands-on experience testing GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD integration and reducing flakiness in mobile UI tests.
- Familiarity with mobile-native debugging tools.
- Experience with native environment setup for iOS and Android.
- Interest in exploring AI/Agentic testing methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
