Responsibilities
- Develop new compiler features that enable the latest language standards.
- Build and improve compilers or compiler components using the LLVM framework.
- Work on optimization passes, code generation, or frontend integration.
- Contribute upstream to the Clang open-source community through patches, reviews, and other technical work.
- Debug complex problems and collaborate with engineers across the industry.
- Support vendor toolchain development involving oneAPI or similar technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics, or a related technical discipline and 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with C/C++, object-oriented programming, and data structures.
- Hands-on compiler development experience.
- Core LLVM expertise, including experience building compilers or compiler components.
- A demonstrated history of technical contributions to open-source projects and the Clang frontend.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to proactively pursue solutions.
- Participation in standards committees such as C, C++, or Khronos.
- Intermediate-level C/C++ knowledge with a deep understanding of language constructs.
- Experience with oneAPI or similar vendor toolchain development is preferred.
