Responsibilities

  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions using the Elastic Stack.
  • Guide a major Telecommunications customer in Japan to maximize their Elastic deployments.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of customer engagements from discovery to optimization.
  • Architect, deploy, and operationalize Elastic solutions for measurable value.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support for successful outcomes.
  • Capture and share best practices and solution patterns within the Elastic Services community.
  • Contribute to internal enablement and mentoring.
  • Design custom dashboards and visualizations for observability use cases.
  • Optimize ingestion pipelines for performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a consultant, architect, or engineer in observability or related fields.
  • Expertise in the Telecommunications domain, especially with mobile networks.
  • Strong experience with time-series data ingestion and processing using Elastic Agents, Beats, and Logstash.
  • Knowledge of messaging queues like Kafka and Redis.
  • Understanding of observability concepts such as distributed tracing and metrics pipelines.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with Elastic Common Schema and data normalization.
  • Proven experience deploying Elastic Observability solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Hands-on expertise in distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure.
  • Ability to design dashboards and alerting thresholds for actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for customer engagement.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Comfortable working in distributed teams and may require travel for customer engagements.
