Responsibilities
- Design firmware for semiconductor products.
- Verify firmware functionality and design quality.
- Develop low-level embedded firmware and automation flows using scripting languages.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex physical design issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support successful firmware designs.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux and Linux drivers and PCIe devices.
- Solid knowledge and experience in dynamic thermal management (DTM).
- Knowledge of embedded development and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of compilers including Clang and GCC and associated linkers.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, and Bash.
- Experience developing and deploying automation flows using scripting languages.
- Experience with CI and SQA.
- Knowledge of revision control methodologies and tools including Git and SVN.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred knowledge of RISC-V, processor and SoC architectures, and JIRA.
