Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with client requirements and platform best practices.
- Build ServiceNow features using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Glide APIs.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and MID Server.
- For ITOM work, support Discovery, CMDB design and reconciliation, Service Mapping, and Event Management alert correlation.
- Translate requirements and user stories into functional solutions with business analysts, architects, and clients.
- Manage technical documentation, integration design, work-effort estimation, and development delivery.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide proactive client communication.
- At Senior or Lead level, mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, lead client workshops, and contribute to pre-sales.
Requirements
- Hands-on ServiceNow platform experience appropriate to the applied level.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Glide APIs.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration patterns; IntegrationHub is preferred from Consultant level.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical ability to translate requirements into platform solutions.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- At Senior or Lead level, experience owning architecture artifacts and leading client-facing workshops.
- ServiceNow CSA certification is required.
- ServiceNow CIS certification in the primary module is required.
- ServiceNow CAD certification is required from Senior Technical Consultant level.
- ITIL Foundation is preferred, and additional CIS certifications are advantageous at Senior or Lead level.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
