Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve services across their full lifecycle, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Engineer reliability into software and systems by managing availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Respond to and resolve emergent service problems, and write software and automation to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
- Review and influence service and systems design, architecture, standards, and operating methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience leading projects.
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Preferred: ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and global teams.
